  • Sourdough Starter Workshop May 16, 2013 - 6:30 pm Learn how to cultivate natural local wild yeast to make your own sourdough starter for great breads, pancakes & quick breads. We will begin our starter fermentation in class with a follow-up class May 22 to check your progress.

April Update


New things are happening for Newcastle Produce Cooking Classes AKA Flour Girl! I officially got my business license a couple months ago so I can grow and become more involved locally! With getting a business license I can officially launch Flour Girl. I am starting my new baking mix line and other goods! Currently at Newcastle Produce I have the Vanilla Bean Scone Mix for sale and will have more by the end of the month. The official kick off will be April 28 at the Nevada City Craft Fair followed by May 5 Good: street food + design market!

Summer Cooking Classes will be released April 29!
