  • Sourdough Starter Workshop May 16, 2013 - 6:30 pm Learn how to cultivate natural local wild yeast to make your own sourdough starter for great breads, pancakes & quick breads. We will begin our starter fermentation in class with a follow-up class May 22 to check your progress.

Harvest Dinner Menus!

If you are interested in hosting a harvest dinner party at your home or at Newcastle Produce we have several menu options. It is very popular this time of year and the dates are filling up fast! We require a minimum of 8 people.

Appetizer:

Fall bruschetta: with gorgonzola, caramelized onions, and fig jam

Salad:

Green salad with pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries

Soup:

French Onion with toasted mozzarella toasts

Entrée:

Roasted Chicken Breast with roasted fall vegetables

Dessert:

Apple walnut tart with maple ice cream

Stuffed mushrooms with panko, mushrooms, onions, garlic, and basil

Salad:

Greens with roasted butternut squash, pomegranate, and spiced walnuts

Soup:

Cider roasted butternut squash

Entrée:

Chicken pot pie

Roasted Chicken Breast wrapped in pancetta with leeks and thyme

Roasted red skin potatoes with rosemary

Dessert:

Individual Pumpkin Pie with spiced cream
